Price Ellison
Price Ellison settled near Vernon in 1876, Ellison successfully set up one of the largest wheat and stock farms in British Columbia. Sophie Johnson and Price Ellison married in December 7, 1884. Price and Sophie's spread was amongst fruit trees, roses, and big old pine trees. The English farm house with the home like atmosphere was influenced by their English roots. The property was over grown with plush vegetables. Sophie Johnson was also a school teacher in 1884, but the school built by Agnes McDonald burnt down the next March.
